What is The Rebellion?

The Rebellion is a movement to change the current teen culture. The Rebellion encourages teens and young adults to stand up for their beliefs, to break all the rules of "Religion," and to live a life of excess in our faith. In Romans 8:31 the question is asked, "If God is for us, who can be against us?" In other words if we were to band together to improve the world that we live in, and followed God's plan for us then...WHO CAN STOP US?

Love Never Fails (Post 4): The Complex Infrastructure Known As Love Part Tres

Hey everybody! Hope you've had a great week! If you've been with me the past few weeks you know that we have talked about love. What it is, what it isn't, what it looks like, and all that good stuff. This week, we will continue that by covering I Corinthians 13:6-7. So, lets get going!
----------
I Corinthians 13:6-7
"Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."
----------
To anybody that has ever had their heartbroken, or thinks love is all a joke...this verse seems to be the most ridiculous. It is also the one that we struggle with the most. True love almost seems like a fantasy. Something so far off, and so unrealistic that it seems as if it could never happen to you. Many people have had all these things from this verse broken. Maybe you have been cheated on, maybe you are on and off all the time, maybe your relationship is abusive, or maybe you just don't feel as if you deserve what you have been given. If you were to make a list of your ideal spouse, all of these things from I Corinthians 13:6-7 should be on there. Protection, trust, hope, and unconditional love are things that everybody strives for and wished they had. Luckily we have all been given that by Christ dying on the cross. His love certainly perseveres, protects us from Satan, gives us trust and hope, and it is always truthful. So, in light of that, you know that you have found true love if you are able to find somebody else who can handle all of these responsibilites. That will lead to a Christlike relationship, and it will greatly improve your life.

Thanks for reading! Thank you to all my regular readers, and if this is your first post...I hope you will go back and check out the archives! As always, feel free to comment on this post and all the other posts. Big thanks to Ichthus for being only about 2 weeks away, and also to Ivoryline for making some awesome music!

Speaking of Ichthus, in two weeks I am going to take a break from the series and cover each day of Ichthus on the blog. I'll post pictures, talk about the bands, talk about the people I meet, talk about the awesome things that happen, and everyhthing like that. Also, next week we will finish up "The Complex Infrastructure..." portion of this series with a post about I Corinthians 13:8. So, hope to see you then! Have a great Memorial Day Weekend!
